Bio-Lure Technology

Biology Brings Mosquitoes Closer

Physical traps need attraction before capture. KiwiNurse D Series Bio-Lure Modules are designed to add a biomimetic attraction layer to compatible trap systems, helping partners evaluate more effective mosquito capture programs.

Why Light Alone Is Not Enough

Conventional UV or blue-light traps can attract many flying insects, but mosquitoes often require additional biological and environmental cues. Host-seeking mosquitoes respond to signals beyond light, including scent, airflow, and surrounding conditions.

KiwiNurse focuses on the missing layer: attraction before capture. D Series Bio-Lure Modules are designed to support physical trap systems by adding a biomimetic attraction layer.

This page explains the technology concept for B2B evaluation. Market requirements and documentation vary by country and product version.

The D Series Bio-Lure Module System

D01, D02, and D03 share the same core formulation and use different mounting structures for different trap systems. This allows partners to evaluate the same attraction concept across indoor, patio, entryway, and commercial capture environments.

Module Mount Recommended For
D01 Magnetic Bio-Lure Module Magnetic Airflow traps, electric-grid traps, patio systems, and compatible metal surfaces. Recommended for B Series applications.
D02 Adhesive Bio-Lure Module Adhesive Indoor plug-in traps, USB light traps, compact sticky systems, and flea trap applications. Recommended for A Series applications.
D03 Hook-On Bio-Lure Module Hook-On Commercial light traps, wall-mounted systems, hanging systems, standing systems, and large capture devices. Recommended for L Series applications.

The full formulation is proprietary. Qualified partners can review available safety and documentation materials through the appropriate cooperation process.

Designed for Existing Traps and KiwiNurse Systems

D Series modules can be evaluated with compatible existing physical trap systems. This gives partners a low-barrier way to test the attraction layer before building complete product programs.

They also work with KiwiNurse A, B, and L Series capture systems:

Series Module Applications
A Series + D02 Adhesive Indoor plug-in, USB, compact sticky, and flea trap applications.
B Series + D01 Magnetic Airflow, electric-grid, patio, entryway, balcony, and courtyard applications.
L Series + D03 Hook-On Commercial wall-mounted, hanging, standing, and large capture systems.

Field Evaluation for Qualified Partners

KiwiNurse encourages qualified partners to evaluate the system in real field conditions. The goal is to help partners see how Bio-Lure modules perform with their target trap type, market, and application scenario.

  1. Submit a partnership inquiry.
  2. Share your market, product type, and target application.
  3. KiwiNurse recommends the appropriate D Series module and capture system.
  4. The partner tests samples in real field conditions.
  5. Both sides review results and discuss next-step cooperation.

Qualified partners may request field evaluation samples after submitting a partnership inquiry. Sample availability, cost, and shipping method depend on customer type, target market, and evaluation purpose.

Documentation for Qualified Review

Technical and safety documentation is available for qualified partners. Available and in-progress documentation may include:

  • Safety data and material information
  • Transport condition assessment
  • GLP toxicology testing (in progress)
  • GLP efficacy testing (in progress)
  • Patent-pending materials after filing
  • Product certifications by model where available

Market requirements vary by country and product version. KiwiNurse does not guarantee market entry in every jurisdiction. We support qualified partners with available documentation and market-specific discussion.
