Bio-Signal Technology
What is the Patent-Pending Bio-Signal Attraction Technology?
The Bio-Signal Attraction Technology is the biological signal layer inside KiwiNurse D Series Bio-Signal Modules. It is designed to support host-seeking attraction before physical capture happens. Most traps start with hardware — KiwiNurse starts one step earlier, with the signals that help mosquitoes approach the capture zone.
Why is light alone not enough?
UV and blue-light traps can attract many flying insects, but mosquitoes often require additional biological and environmental cues. KiwiNurse focuses on the missing layer: attraction before capture. A trap can only capture what it can attract.
What is the difference between D01, D02, and D03?
D01, D02, and D03 share the same biological signal layer and use different mounting structures. D01 (Flagship) is magnetic-mounted for B Series applications, D02 is adhesive-mounted for A Series applications, and D03 is hook-mounted for L Series commercial applications.
Do you disclose the full formulation?
Full formulation details are proprietary. Qualified partners can review selected documentation materials through the appropriate cooperation process.
Can the module be adjusted for different markets?
Module configuration can be discussed by target market, environment, and application scenario. Any market-specific discussion depends on technical review and documentation requirements.
Product Selection
How do I choose the right product system?
Indoor spaces usually start with A Series products and D02 modules. Patio, entryway, balcony, and courtyard spaces usually start with B Series products and D01 modules. Commercial spaces usually start with L Series products and D03 modules.
What is the A Series used for?
A Series products are compact indoor light traps for rooms, hallways, kitchens, pet areas, and small indoor spaces. They are typically evaluated with D02 adhesive Bio-Signal modules.
What is the B Series used for?
B Series products are airflow or electric-grid trap systems for living rooms, balconies, entryways, patios, and courtyard-side spaces. They are typically evaluated with D01 magnetic Bio-Signal modules.
What is the L Series used for?
L Series products are commercial capture systems for restaurants, hotels, warehouses, schools, and property groups. They are typically evaluated with D03 hook-on Bio-Signal modules.
What is the C Series used for?
C Series products are salt-powered mechanical pest-control tools for targeted use against visible nuisance insects. They are based on U.S. Patent No. US 12,514,242 B1 and are not part of the D Series Bio-Signal Module system.
Do you support pilot orders before distributor MOQ?
Yes, we support pilot orders before the distributor MOQ. We have a tiered MOQ structure to accommodate different partnership stages:
Sample Kit : 5-20 units per model for product testing
Pilot Order : 300-500 units for small-scale trial sales
Distributor MOQ : 3000 units for formal distribution partnershipsThis flexible policy helps new partners validate the market risk-free before committing to larger orders
Can KiwiNurse support regional packaging or private supply programs?
Yes, KiwiNurse supports both regional packaging and private supply programs.
Regional Packaging : We provide full packaging customization solutions, including structural design and color box printing, to meet regional retail or e-commerce packaging standards. Orders of 500 units or more are eligible for custom packaging
Private Supply Programs : We support OEM/ODM customization, allowing partners to participate in new product design (top 20% of partners) and access data-driven channel empowerment tools (e.g., regional best-selling SKU insights, competitive price alerts) . Partners can also apply for exclusive regional distribution rights.
Compatibility & Installation
Can D Series modules work with existing traps?
Qualified partners can evaluate D Series Bio-Signal Modules with compatible existing physical trap systems. Compatibility depends on trap structure, mounting position, airflow, environment, and use scenario.
Which module should be used with A Series products?
D02 adhesive Bio-Signal modules are recommended for A Series indoor applications.
Which module should be used with B Series products?
D01 magnetic Bio-Signal modules are recommended for B Series patio, airflow, and electric-grid applications.
Which module should be used with L Series products?
D03 hook-on Bio-Signal modules are recommended for L Series commercial applications.
Samples & Field Evaluation
What is the typical lead time for samples and bulk orders?
Samples : Standard samples are dispatched within 3 business days; custom prototypes require 7-15 business days
Sample confirmation typically takes 1-2 weeks
Bulk Orders : Regular mass production orders have a lead time of 25-45 days
For orders under 500 units, the lead time is 15 days; for orders over 500 units, it is 30 days
In-stock products can be replenished faster
What is KiwiNurse’s sample policy?
Standard Sample Policy
Verified B2B Partners

Documented purchasing role or project need: $120 sample evaluation fee, deductible from the first formal order.
General Inquiries
Reviewed case by case. KiwiNurse does not provide retail checkout.
What is a field evaluation?
Field evaluation means testing the recommended D Series Bio-Signal Module and capture system in a real use scenario — such as an indoor room, patio, entryway, or commercial site. The goal is to see how the attraction layer performs with your target trap type and application.
What information should I provide before sample evaluation?
Please provide your company, country, product category, application scenario, target customers, and whether you are testing with existing traps or KiwiNurse capture systems.
Compliance & Documentation
Who is responsible for local compliance or market registration?
We can provide technical cooperation to support local partner companies with strong overall capabilities in obtaining compliance certifications.
Is the Bio-Signal Attraction Technology patent-pending?
Patent-pending technology. Chinese invention patent application filed; substantive examination requested. PCT international application in progress. Patent-pending materials are available to qualified partners under appropriate arrangements. The full formulation and process details remain proprietary.
Can KiwiNurse provide full internal test methods, raw data, or formulation details?
No. Formulation details, process information, internal test methods, and some development records remain proprietary. KiwiNurse provides selected documentation to qualified partners depending on product version, market, and cooperation stage. Field evaluation is the most direct way to validate fit in a partner’s own scenario.
What documentation may be available for qualified partners?
Selected safety, transport, and product documentation may be available to qualified partners by product version, destination market, and cooperation stage. Formulation details, process information, and internal test methods remain proprietary.
How should partners verify performance?
KiwiNurse recommends field evaluation in the partner’s own trap type, climate, mosquito pressure, customer scenario, and market channel. This allows partners to judge practical fit before larger cooperation.
Has KiwiNurse received product design recognition?
A01 / UVA Sticky Fly Trap Lamp received the iF Design Award 2021 in the Lighting category. KiwiNurse applies the same product philosophy across its capture systems: scenario-specific function, safety, usability, maintenance, and product form.
Is the C Series patented?
C Series salt-powered mechanical pest-control tools are based on U.S. Patent No. US 12,514,242 B1. They are not part of the D Series Bio-Signal Module system, but they extend KiwiNurse’s physical pest-control portfolio with a patented mechanical tool line.
Are all documents available publicly?
No. Some documents are available only for qualified partners after inquiry review or under appropriate confidentiality arrangements.
Can KiwiNurse guarantee market entry in every country?
No. Requirements vary by country and product version. KiwiNurse supports qualified partners with available documentation and market-specific discussion.
